1). Chemical Analyst
Responsibilities
- Perform chemical analysis of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products using HPLC, GC, UV/Vis, titrations, and other analytical techniques.
- Ensure all tests are conducted according to SOPs, GMP guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze and interpret results to ensure compliance with specifications including potency, purity, pH, and other quality attributes.
- Prepare samples for analysis according to required standards.
- Maintain and calibrate analytical instruments to ensure accuracy and precision.
- Maintain accurate records of testing activities, observations, and results.
- Prepare test reports and Certificates of Analysis (COA) in line with regulatory standards.
- Review and verify results before final approval.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, NAFDAC, and company quality standards.
- Follow laboratory safety protocols and proper handling/disposal of chemicals.
- Participate in audits and support method validation and verification.
- Support stability testing, method development, and troubleshooting of equipment.
- Collaborate with QA and Production teams to resolve quality issues.
Requirements
- B.Sc/HND in Chemistry or Biochemistry.
- Experience in chemical analysis or related laboratory work.
- Knowledge of key laboratory concepts and analytical procedures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in laboratory data analysis and interpretation.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
