Organizations like the IEMA (Institution of Environmental Management and Assessment) and Coursera offer certifications in sustainability management, energy efficiency and environmental policies, which is very important because all these policies, businesses need to be aware of it.
If you don’t have the skill, you can volunteer for green initiatives. Volunteer with environmental organizations can provide you with hands-on experience and help you build networks for industry. There are a lot of volunteering opportunities out there. Just look for it.

Aside from that, if you’ve lived in the UK for more than three years and you can prove you’ve lived in the UK for more than three years, there are free boot camps you can apply for.
If you’ve lived in the UK for three years and you’re happy switching career to sustainability, there are openings for the skilled boot camp where they’re going to train you and they will hire you, for people who do not currently have a job.
For you to be eligible, you must not have a job at the moment and you must be willing to switch to sustainability. They will train you for three months after the course and the training. It may in person or online, but you can go do your research yourself. They will train you after the training, then you will start your role.
