by The Renaissance African Energy Company (Renaissance), operator of the NNPC/Renaissance/TotalEnergies/AENR Joint Venture (Renaissance JV), invites applications from interested qualified Nigerian students to apply for the 2025 NNPC-RENAISSANCE JV University Scholarship. The scholarship aims to promote academic excellence and improve the skills of young Nigerians. It provides a yearly grant to successful applicants for the duration of their undergraduate degree programme.
About The Award Scheme:
The NNPC-Renaissance JV University Scholarship is a merit-based undergraduate scholarship offered by the Renaissance African Energy Company, in partnership with NNPC, TotalEnergies, and AENR. It supports young Nigerian students with a yearly grant throughout their undergraduate studies.

- Full-time undergraduates in 200 Level as of the 2023/2024 academic session
- Students from accredited Nigerian universities
- Applicants must not be recipients of any other oil & gas industry-funded scholarship
- Two categories:
- National Merit Award: Open to all Nigerians
- Operational Area Award: Open to indigenes of Bayelsa, Delta, Imo, and Rivers States
How are Applicants Selected?
Selection is based on academic merit, proper documentation, and verification of eligibility. Indigenes of operational areas will need signed identification letters from local authorities.
