In post, I will be sharing with you the new cut-off numbers, those to apply during the month of August 2025, as part of the DV 2025 program. I will be doing that in comparison to the cut-off numbers that will apply during the month of July.
Visa Bulletin For July 2025 Breakdown Analysis With August Cut-off Numbers For Diversity Visa 2025 Program (DV-2025)
We begin in the Africa region, where for the month of July 2025, the cut-off number established was 45,000 but for the month of August 2025, the new cut-off number established now is 50,000. Then to the Asia region where the cut-off number for the month of July 2025 was 9,000, and for the month of August 2025, it has been established at 11,000.
Europe region was at 19,000 for the month of July 2025, and for the month of August 2025, it has been established at 22,000. The North America (BAHAMAS) region for the month of July 2025 was established at 20, and for the month of August 2025, North America region has all gone current.
Oceania region was at 1,650 for the month of July 2025, and for the month of August 2025, Oceania has been established at 1,700. Final, the South America region was established at 2,450 for the month of July 2025, and for the month of August 2025, it has been established at 2,600.
Over to exceptional countries of interest, beginning with Algeria for the month of July 2025. Algeria was established at 44,950 and for the month of August 2025, Algeria has been established at 49,950. Egypt was at 40,000 for the month of July 2025, and for the month of August 2025, Egypt has been established at 43,250.
Morocco was at 34,500 for the month of July 2025, and for the month of August 2025, that country has been established at 40,500. And then to the Asia region where both Iran and Nepal were established at 8,950 for the month of July 2025, and both of those countries have been established at 10,650 for the month of August 2025.
Looking at these new cut-off numbers, you will observe that all of the regions and exceptional countries have experienced an increase in their cut-off numbers, and this increase in the various regions and exceptional countries will allow new case numbers to become current for interview during the month of August 2025.

Case Numbers That Have Become Current For Interview
So, let’s continue by considering the case numbers that were previously not current, but that have become current for interview with the publication of the August 2025 cut-off numbers.
Once again, we begin in the Africa region where the case numbers that were previously not current, but that have become current for the month of August 2025, are case numbers going from case number 45000 to case number 50,000.
In the case of the Asia region, the case numbers that just became current for interview in the month of August 2025 are case numbers going from case number 9000 to case number 11,000.
In the case of Europe region, the case numbers that just became current for interview during the month of August 2025 are case numbers going from case number 19000 to case number 22,000.
For Oceania region, the case numbers that just became current are case numbers going from case number 1,650 to case number 1,700. And then for the final region, the South America region, the case numbers that just became current are case numbers going from case number 2,450 to case number 2,600.
