NNPC/Renaissance JV Enterprise Development Programme 2026

The NNPC/Renaissance JV Enterprise Development Programme 2026 is designed to empower young individuals aged 18–35 by providing structured entrepreneurship training and access to start-up financing, with the objective of enabling them to establish and sustainably grow their own businesses.

Renaissance Africa Energy Company Limited (Renaissance), operator of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC), Renaissance, TotalEnergies and Agip Energy and Natural Resources Joint Venture (Renaissance JV), is now receiving applications for its 2026 Regional Enterprise Development Programme (formerly NNPC/SPDC JV LiveWIRE).

The Programme Objectives

  • BUSINESS SKILLS DEVELOPMENT – Equip young entrepreneurs with essential business planning and management capabilities through the Successful Business Owner Course.
  • START-UP GRANT SUPPORT – Provide business start-up funding to participants who present the most outstanding and viable business plans.
  • ACCESS TO THIRD-PARTY FUNDING – Enable successful candidates to pitch their business plans to external stakeholders including financial institutions and Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs).
  • VOLUNTEER MENTORSHIP – Offer a structured volunteer mentoring programme to guide and support participants as they establish and grow their enterprises.

Requirements:

  • Must poses an HND or a University Degree.
  • Must have completed the NYSC programme.
  • Must be indigenes of
    • Rivers
    • Bayelsa
    • Delta
    • Imo
    • Abia
    • Akwa Ibom
    • Cross River
    • Edo State.
  • Must be between 18 and 35 years old.

General Requirements:

  • Applicants must not be engaged in paid employment.
  • Applicants Must possess an innovative and viable business idea.
  • Applicants Must demonstrate a genuine desire to own and manage a business.
  • Must not have operated a business for more than three (3) years.
  • Must not have previously benefited from the Renaissance Enterprise Development Programme (formerly NNPC-SPDC JV LiveWIRE), community skills training, agricultural programme, or similar community skills & enterprise development social investment programmes.
