Job Title: Facility Officer (Mechanical Technician)
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Carry out routine inspection, maintenance, and repair of all mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, pumps, generators, and fire-fighting systems.
- Monitor, diagnose, and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime.
- Execute preventive and corrective maintenance schedules in line with facility management standards.
- Ensure mechanical systems comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Provide technical support during facility upgrades, renovations, and new equipment installations.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and reports for all mechanical operations.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and other technical staff to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Respond promptly to mechanical emergencies and service requests.
- Support energy conservation initiatives by ensuring efficient use of mechanical equipment.
- Assist in budget planning by recommending spare parts, tools, and equipment procurement.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess an FLSC / OND / HND / BSc Degree with 5 years experience.
Salary: N200,000 – N320,000 Monthly.
