Job Summary
Aggreko are looking for Service Technician Electrical to perform turnaround, services, repairs, test, retrofits, pre-delivery inspection, on-site set-up, installation and commissioning of Gas and diesel generators, LV installations and equipment check with proper documentation. To assist the Site team in the promotion of safety in the organization by involvement in HSE programs.
Responsibilities
- To carry out major electrical equipment maintenance as per work instruction on Aggreko equipment
- To carry out systematic fault finding and repairs on electrical and control equipment
- To carry out procedural-based failure reporting using paper and electronic systems
- To carry out ‘On the Job Training’ for Service Crew
- Assisting with the installation and demobilisation of Aggreko equipment

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or acceptable equivalent qualifications/experience
- At least 5 years of experience in the Electrical field. Experience in the Mechanical field a plus.
- Experience in operation and maintenance of diesel / gas generators and their axillaries.
- Minimum 3 to 5 Years of Experience in a Rental power company or Utility maintenance comprising
- Effective troubleshooting capability and ability to read electrical drawings.
- Availability to travel as and when required.
