Job Summary
Site quality control to prevent non-conformances, mitigate reworks, and strengthen internal QA/QC processes in line with the organisation’s vision.
Responsibilities
- Carry out timely inspections to identify non-conformances and prevent errors that result in rework.
- Plan and carry out materials tests in accordance with inspection and test plans.
- Maintain accurate and traceable records of project QA/QC documents.
- Monitor project progress to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
- Prepare reports and make presentations on QA/QC project methodologies.
- Carry out any other responsibility as may be assigned by the line supervisor.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3–5 years relevant work experience.
- First degree or HND in Civil/Structural Engineering or Building Technology is strongly required.
- Thorough knowledge of engineering principles and standards.
- Experience working with engineering software such as AutoCAD.
- Previous work experience with a design firm will be an added advantage.
- Excellent understanding of construction drawings.
- Strong report-writing skills and high attention to detail.
