The President’s Global Scholarships 2026 at Queen Mary University of London (QMUL) provide up to 20 international students with a £10,000 tuition fee reduction for eligible master’s programmes starting in September 2026. This competitive award is designed to support high-achieving overseas students pursuing postgraduate taught degrees.
Which Fields are Eligible?
- Eligible: Most full-time postgraduate taught programmes.
- Excluded programmes:
- MSc Artificial Intelligence
- MSc Data Science
- MSc Computer Science (Conversion)
- MSc Economics
- MSc Psychology (Conversion)
- All distance learning programmes
- MRes programmes
- Pre-masters pathways
- PG Diplomas & PG Certificates
- Students joining via partner university arrangements

- Tuition Fee Reduction Scholarship | £10,000 deduction.
Who can Apply?
Applicants must:
- Have achieved a UK first-class honours degree or verified international equivalent by 31 March 2026.
- Hold an unconditional offer for an eligible full-time postgraduate taught programme starting September 2026.
- Have Overseas fee status confirmed by QMUL (must remain Overseas throughout the programme).
- Be fully self-funded (no other QMUL scholarships or full-fee sponsorships).
- Enrol full-time (part-time students are not eligible).
How are Applicants Selected?
- Based on academic excellence (first-class degree or equivalent).
- Must meet all eligibility criteria and submit the scholarship application form.
- Outcomes communicated by end of May 2026.

How Long Will the Award Last?
- One academic year (September 2026 intake only).
- Cannot be deferred to future intakes.
How to Apply:
- Apply for a master’s programme at QMUL and secure an unconditional offer.
- Achieve a first-class degree (or equivalent) by 31 March 2026.
- QMUL will email eligible offer holders a link to the President’s Global Scholarships application form.
- Complete and submit the form by 17 April 2026.
- Wait for outcome notification by end of May 2026.
