Starting with the upcoming October registration cycle, a $1 registration fee is now required for every DV Lottery entry. This rule became effective on September 16, 2025 and will apply immediately.
DV LOTTERY 2027 – IMPORTANT UPDATE
Starting this year, there’s a new regulation you need to know:
- A $1 registration fee is now required when submitting your DV Lottery entry.
- This fee must be paid online through the official U.S. Government payment portal before completing your entry.
The new rule took effect on September 16, 2025. That means the upcoming October registration cycle will include this $1 fee.
